This interactive session will explore how Martin and Mediators Beyond Borders Int'l use an integrative approach in global communities and multinational organizations to support lasting conflict transformation and impact. Topics will include trauma-informed tools and conflict coaching to improve your practice at any scale.

Our presenter: Scott Martin
An international mediator, trainer, and social entrepreneur, Martin has lived, worked, taught or travelled in over 90 countries.
A Founding Member of Mediators Beyond Borders International, Martin has led projects in Rwanda, Ukraine, Southern Africa, and most recently in Malaysia with youth leaders from throughout the ASEAN region. With a focus on community-based and trauma informed practices, Martin has trained diverse groups from the Ugandan Police Force at Makerere University, Kampala and to teaching Restorative Justice practices in classrooms in his home state of California.
As an owner of a social benefit business, Martin had a successful appearance on ABC's Shark Tank, and continues to weave social entrepreneurism as cornerstone of peacebuilding.
A Rotary International Peace Fellow, a Paul Harris Fellow, Martin holds a `Master’s in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, a certificate in International Conflict Studies from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. A past director of the National Association for Community Mediation (NAFCM), and currently serve as a Director for Rotary Peace Fellow Alumni Association and the Remarkable Men’s Practice.
