Power Dynamics in Mediation: Building Process Mastery
Power is always present in dispute resolution—sometimes visible, often subtle, and always impactful. Left unaddressed, imbalances can stall progress, silence voices, or compromise outcomes. In this engaging 60-minute session, participants will be introduced to essential tools for navigating power dynamics to strengthen their ethical practice and differentiate their service in the market.
Participants will explore key "power currencies," including resource, network, communication, and expertise networks, and learn actionable strategies to guide parties toward collaborative outcomes. By developing a deeper framework for managing these dynamics, dispute resolution professionals can take practical steps toward process mastery, ensuring fair agreements while establishing their practice as a trusted authority
