Our special guest this week, Jessica Medina, Accredited Financial Counselor®, will present on:

The Mediator's Financial Runway: The Math Behind Making the Move

Leaving a predictable paycheck for a second career is one of the biggest financial decisions a senior attorney will ever make, and most make it without a real framework for the math. In this session, Jessica Medina, Accredited Financial Counselor® and former lawyer, breaks down the financial side of late-career transitions with a practical, no-jargon approach built specifically for senior legal professionals.

We'll cover how to identify your true monthly needs baseline, audit the expenses that are really just the cost of your current job, inventory your cash flow sources during the transition gap, and calculate the runway you actually need to make the move with confidence.

Our presenter:

Jessica Medina is a lawyer turned Accredited Financial Counselor on a mission to help attorneys create the financial freedom they need to do big things. She graduated from Columbia Law School in 2004 as a single mom of twins with over $200,000 in student loans and went straight to work at a large law firm in Washington, D.C. After eight years in private practice, she switched roles and became Senior Counsel at the Division of Enforcement at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. She left the government to work in an area of the financial industry outside of the securities world and now teaches other lawyers how to use their money to finance their dream lives through workshops and private coaching.
