Our special guest this week, Eileen Barker, Mediator will Present on:

Forgiveness In Mediation

Conflict is not fully resolved unless there is forgiveness. At its core, forgiveness involves the healing of hurt and anger while releasing animosity between the parties involved. Unfortunately, many mediations end without addressing the underlying issues fueling the dispute and rely on partial solutions and monetary settlements instead. When parties harbor a desire for revenge, it further complicates matters and can perpetuate conflict, even when a settlement has been reached. This session will explore how mediators can reset the table. Learn strategies to guide parties toward genuine healing and resolution, fostering an environment where repair can occur. By prioritizing emotional closure, mediators can turn disputes into meaningful opportunities for growth and understanding.
